infill / Rebalance is required every two weeks in order to keep your nails
looking as good as new.
Professional
removal of your nail enhancements is important as incorrect removal can result
in nails becoming thin and damaged.
Aftercare
It is important not to use your new extensions as tools. When flicking switches
and picking things up try to use the pads of your finger rather than your
nails. Avoid drumming your fingers on hard surfaces as this is likely to weaken
them.
Try to avoid submerging your hands in water for great lengths of time i.e. washing up and cleaning. Avoid contact with harsh chemicals as this can cause damage to your extensions. Try to wear rubber gloves where possible.
Don’t panic if you see one of your nails beginning to ’lift’ or even break. Whilst of course it is good for your enhancements to stay put, if the nails were to become trapped or take a hard knock it is preferable for the enhancement to break away from the natural nail rather than be so strong and bonded that the natural nail comes away too. It is much quicker and less painful for me to fix a broken nail than wait for up to a year for a new nail to grow back!
Certain tanning creams and sprays can sometimes give the nails a yellow appearance, wearing gloves can help prevent this. UV rays from the sun and sun beds can also discolour the nails. Let me know if your nails may be subject to this as I can use special topcoats to help.
